Who We Are
Adhwan — “Journey” in Sanskrit
Adhwan Network Pvt. Ltd. was founded in 2023 in Butwal with one conviction: western Nepal deserves world-class live music. We are a youth-driven events and cultural production company rooted on Kailash Path, Butwal-14, Rupandehi — the commercial heartland of Lumbini Province.
The name Adhwan — meaning “Journey” in Sanskrit — is our philosophy. Every concert, every crowd, every artist we put on stage is a chapter in a larger story we are writing for Nepal’s live music scene. From our very first show in December 2023, we have been building that story, one unforgettable night at a time.
We are official partners of Aafno Tickets — Nepal’s #1 online event ticketing platform — and hold active coordination partnerships with Butwal Sub-Metropolitan City and the Lumbini Province Tourism Council.

This was where everything started. Chill Music Fest 2023 was Adhwan Network's first public statement — a carefully curated, intimate yet powerful evening of live music that proved one thing definitively: Butwal was hungry for this.
Held in December 2023, the festival brought together four of Nepal's most compelling acts. The night was electric from the first note to the last chord — and the 2,700-strong crowd that packed the venue made sure every single performer knew it. More than an event, Chill Music Fest was a declaration. Adhwan Network had arrived.
For many in the audience that night, it was their first time experiencing a festival-grade live production in their own city. That first-time feeling — that was the whole point.

Rewind Fest was Adhwan Network's second production — and it was a declaration of scale. Bigger stage. Bigger production. And a headline act that needed no introduction to an entire generation of Nepal's music lovers.
The Edge — one of Nepal's most celebrated and enduring rock bands — chose Rewind Fest as the stage to mark their extraordinary 25th anniversary. Twenty-five years of music history, brought to Butwal. The significance of that choice was not lost on anyone in the crowd.
For a band of The Edge's stature to celebrate such a milestone in western Nepal rather than in Kathmandu or abroad was a statement in itself — a statement that Adhwan Network made possible. The 2,400-strong audience bore witness to something genuinely historic: a 25-year celebration that Butwal hosted, and Butwal owned.
After two festivals and 5,100 attendees, one thing was clear: this was only the beginning.

Founder & Director — Adhwan Network Pvt. Ltd.
“I've spent ten years learning that live music isn't entertainment. It's infrastructure. Butwal deserves that infrastructure — and Adhwan Network will build it.”
Ashok Thapa brings over a decade of hands-on event management experience to every Adhwan production. His career spans the full spectrum of Nepal's live events industry — from intimate college-stage gigs to large-format outdoor festivals — working alongside Nepal's most respected artists, venues, and production teams across the country.
He founded Adhwan Network in 2023 with a deliberate decision: to build a production company that treats western Nepal not as a secondary market, but as a primary one. With Chill Music Fest 2023 drawing 2,700 attendees and Rewind Fest 2024 drawing 2,400 for The Edge's landmark 25th anniversary, that vision has already been validated — twice.
Rewind Fest: The Sequel in 2026 will be the next chapter. Bigger. Louder. Still Butwal.
